For Yoga and Meditation

I’m Jenn and I’m here to help you stay regulated & move your body so you can take appropriate action in the world.

In the Yoga I share, I teach others how to find and use their own tools such as awareness of movement, breath, sensation and thought to move beyond this denser place of mental clutter, belief, judgment and opinion to a deeper, more peaceful and lighter sense of ‘I’.  It is from this place where we learn to navigate through our personal selves in a more authentic way, birthing our ‘Yes’, and generously sharing this authenticity in our community.

For a monthly membership of $45, you can attend all online yoga classes offered (1-8 per week) as well as access previous classes in the library hosted on a Facebook Group. Otherwise, yoga classes can be paid $10 each as desired and $20 for workshops.

I bring to the table:

Restorative Practices

First we must find stability. Stability in self, and that requires being able to regulate our nervous system so we can be calm, engaged, impactful. I use various modalities including yoga, meditation, awareness, etc., to come back to this moment.

Rejuvenation Practices

It is not enough to be in rest and digest. We must be able to hold that stability as well as be able to react and respond to our environment appropriately (run from the tiger when needed, or see there is no tiger). Rejuvenation is about building resiliency and capacity.

Online Yoga Classes

Weekly evening classes are Tuesdays (or Thursdays) 6:30-7:30pm and are gentle, yin and restorative. Friday morning classes are 10-11am and are active/yang classes that are accessible and rejuvenating. I also have a monthly Breathing, Restorative Yoga + Nidra or Couples Yoga Datenight on Saturday. $10/class drop-in (per hour class) or monthly membership. An online library of classes is provided via Facebook Group for monthly subscribers. Each month 90 minutes of new content is added to the library.

Cleansing Practices

Most weekday mornings I teach a Vedic Yoga Cleansing and Preparation practice. The classes vary from 30 minutes to 60 minutes and start at 8:30am. (Wednesday is 60 minutes). The classes cleanse the physical and subtle body from ama and apana in preparation for more consciousness establishing itself in your home/body/vessel. This is a deeper, more advanced practice of yoga that anyone can do.

Taking classes with Jenn Brooks has not only been fun and enjoyable but has gotten me back in touch with my body and my health. Classes are always much more than physical movement.
