This class series/semester will be dedicated to working with the deep abdominal muscles called the psoas (pronounced ‘so-as’) and other muscles. We will be generating awareness, strength, and length, reducing tension, as we work in the pelvic region (lower back and abdominal areas) with an emphasis on floor poses.
This is a Level I class and appropriate for students new to yoga who want to work gently, but effectively. Also ideal for students with more yoga experience who want to build more central awareness.
Fall Dates: September 6 through December 20, 15 classes: Wed 5:30-6:45 (no class 9/27)
Drop-In Rate per class: $10
Location: 947 Main Street in the Village of Barboursville.
