Jenn Brooks, Teacher: In the yoga I share, I teach others how to find and use their own tools such as awareness of movement, breath, sensation and thought to move beyond this denser place of mental clutter, belief, judgment and opinion to a deeper, more peaceful and lighter sense of ‘I’. It is from this place where we learn to navigate through our personal selves in a more authentic way, birthing our ‘Yes’, and generously sharing this authenticity in our community.

Nervous System Reset:
Restorative Yoga is the radical pleasure of going slow. You will be supported by a variety of cushions and blankets while in relaxing yoga poses that aim to restore the body and mind to natural balance. Hands on yoga assists, energy healing and essential oil applications may be offered while the body is at rest. Guided meditations and Yoga Nidra are also available. Through restorative practice, we begin to soothe our overstimulated sympathetic nervous systems and find relief from the stress of our busy lives. Come experience the magic of this deeply transformational practice. Paradoxically, by giving ourselves the gift of rest, we will discover more energy for family, work and creativity.
Basics + Yin Yoga:
Basics indicates an easier program for cultivating and maintaining a strong foundation, working on specific poses or areas of interest. Yin Yoga helps stretch the connective tissues of the body. The practice is quiet and passive; it has a quality of stillness. The poses are held for a longer period of time which can be very meditative and calming allowing your awareness and breath to be directed to a particular part of the body and keeping your joints mobile and helping regulate the flow of energy in the body.
Basics + Yoga for Increasing Strength:
Basics indicates an easier program for cultivating and maintaining a strong foundation, working on specific poses or areas of interest. We will focus on building strength with longer hold standing poses, using props for modification and alignment. We will always end with a 10-minute relaxation and inquiry. If you have arthritis, osteoporosis, or wish to work on building physical strength, this class could be for you.
Basics + Restorative Yoga:
Basics indicates an easier program for cultivating & maintaining a strong foundation. Then we will sink deep and gain balance with Restorative Yoga poses. This practice consists of gentle movement and customized supported postures held at length. With breath and gravity, release layers of tension and revitalize your natural rhythms. Learn to relax and find yourself directing stress more efficiently in daily life.
