A series of yoga sessions that may appeal to you if live with chronic conditions, as I do. It’s been suggested to me for years that I do this series and I’ve rebelled. I never wanted to go to the “sick person” class and therefore I figured others might feel the same way. Well, the brutal month of April has softened me in a new way. I’m really understanding how nice it is to hang out, no words necessary, with others dealing with these chronic conditions. Let’s be clear – this is not a group for belly aching or fixin’ others. This is a group for unwinding our bodies (mental, emotional and physical) with others who are interested in doing the same.
We will breathe. We will stretch…gently. We will meditate and learn tools to co-exist better with these conditions we live with. And those in a flare are always welcome to just lay around while we hold space for you.
Those who love Gentle/Restorative Yoga for mood management and other reasons are also welcome to join this series of classes.
Wednesday evenings will be a gentle, stretchy, restorative-style, breath-centered yoga class, ending with a long guided meditation.
Fall SERIES Dates: August 15 through September 26, Wednesdays 6:30pm-8pm (no class August 29) NOTE: Class is now full. I have one spot left in a very similar class on Tuesdays 11-12:30pm – same price.
